The Loop Tour Train is available on Saturdays
only, May 4 - September 28, 2002. It is a 40-minute tour of the
downtown loop area on board a CTA "L" train which offers
a unique vantage point for seeing Chicago's internationally renowned
architecture. The tour is fully narrated by Chicago Architecture
Foundation docents.
Free tickets are distributed on a first-come,
first-serve basis beginning at 10am on the day of the tour. Tickets
are available at the Chicago Cultural Center Visitor Information
Center, 77 East Randolph Street (at Michigan Avenue). Tours depart
from the Randolph/Wabash CTA station at 11:35 am, 12:15 pm, 12:55
pm, and 1:35 pm.
